After hearing tales of the Hidoro gang owning an escaped prisoner's tattooed skin, Private Hyakunosuke Ogata of the 7th Division and former Shinsengumi Vice Commander Toshizou Hijikata find themselves on opposing sides of a gang war in Barato. With a clue to the buried Ainu riches close at hand, the two eagerly take up guns, but a treachery forces both sides to reconsider before recklessly rushing the gun.
